2017 Drylands Sauvignon Blanc

With warmer temperatures right around the corner, it’s almost time to shutter the hearty red wines and start thinking Spring and Summer. Be gone Old Man Winter, to us that means enjoying warm sunshine, blue skies,  whites and roses. It’s not hard to find a crisp and citrusy New Zealand Sauvignon  Blanc these days, but when you find one that stands out from the crowd, jump in and enjoy the ride. Despite the fact that many Sauvignon Blanc’s from this region reflect the same flavor profile, this delicious white has a personality all its own. Vibrant in lemon, lime, grapefruit, star fruit, pineapple and passion fruit, it’s the nose that sets this one apart from the rest of the crowd. Huge whiffs of lemongrass, melon, and creamy baked apple, it’s one of those wines that are as enjoyable to sniff as they are to drink. With a great long zesty finish, you’d almost wish it would not to come to an end.Dry
