2017 Russell B. Gregory Rose

On this Valentine’s Day, or for that matter, any day throughout the year, what a better way to say I Love You than by enjoying a glass of this rare and unique rose. Made from 30% Syrah and 70% Gewürztraminer grapes from the Hungarian Vineyard in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. YRussell B Gregory Rosees my friends, a rose made from a large percentage of a white varietal. A fresh sea breeze nose gives way to a deep rich ruby colored wine with Jolly Rancher watermelon, strawberry, pomegranate and Asian spice notes. Bone dry and with very light acidity, there is great depth to the Syrah flavors, with rosewater, pink grapefruit and tangerine hints on its long finish. Paired with salads, a variety of cheeses and any type of fowl, I’d go as far as saying it has the bones to stand up to any meat you cook on the grill. The jury is out, now it’s your time to be the judge. I’m guilty already of wanting another glass.
