2018 Andronicus Red Blend

Attention! Your attention please!

If you are a lover of those big bold Napa Reds with a price tag in the hundreds of $$$, but unfortunately, are out of your price range, please listen. (Do I have your attention now?)

This latest vintage from Titus Vineyards has all that you ask for in a huge red wine without busting your budget. A marriage of 29% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Malbec, 10% Petite Verdot, 10% Petite Sirah and 5% Cabernet Franc, it has a ping pong of fruit flavors that bounce harmoniously between each different varietal. Dark extracted plum, blackberry and burnt cherry fruit meld with violets, black tea, clove and cigar smoke characteristics. Its ultra dark concentrated fruit coats the palate, while the spicy mid- palate leads to a oak filled silky smooth finish. Year after year, the blend changes its percentage of varietal make up to maximize its full body content. After sampling a number of vintages over the years, this is the winemaker’s best effort by far. Built to last, this will be a welcome addition to any cellar, wine rack or dinner table.
