Winetime : Breaking News Alert

A slight departure from our normal postings of all things wine, we at Winetime were asked to create a few new drink concoctions in honor of Detroit’s rich automotive history by a very prominent business insider. With our deep passion for classic cars, not to mention a fine beverage, we were more than honored to pay tribute to the auto industry and our fine city.

With inspiration from the upcoming car show and those throughout the Summer, we began our research and development by bringing together the finest gourmet ingredients that we feel represent cars, cruising and classic cocktails. We mixed, remixed, an ounce here, a dash there and a pinch here and there for good luck. Our final results were tasted and retested until we our trusted panel of tasting palates agreed that we were clicking on all cylinders.

Designated the Woodward M1 and the Zero to Sixty (0-2-60), our final results were featured on a television segment on Fox 2 Detroit and will be poured exclusively at the iconic London Chop House in downtown Detroit and at all Fishbone locations in Metro Detroit starting next week. For those of you who would like to get a jump start and be the first to experiment with our creations, we have the recipes listed below just for you. Enjoy, drink responsibly and your feedback is always welcome and appreciated.
