Mercury Head Cabernet Sauvignon is the flagship of winemaker David Phinney of Orin swift Cellars. The Mercury Head is comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stagecoach, Emerson Day and Morisoli vineyards. This vintage has intensity and traditional complexity. From the moment in the glass and time to open up. Comes dark violet and a deep ruby classic aromatics of rich black fruit, of plum, cherry and chocolate. Then a flood on the palate of cassis, blackberry, blueberry, caramel with hints of brown sugar and cinnamon.. finishing on a rich, bold, balanced close with lingering tannins. 
Its been a long, long time since we tasted Mercury Head. We made a promise that this wine is on our annual tasting list.
